Get your ticket for the Polar Express

Lois Roeske (front) represented Port Washington State Bank, a major sponsor of the event, which this year will be held at the Cedarburg Community Gym. The Polar Express will open at 9 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. Children in Grafton will be picked up in a decorated bus at 8:45 a.m. at the Multipurpose Senior Center and return at 10:30 a.m., while those in Port Washington will be picked up at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Milwaukee and Main streets and return at 12:15 p.m. In Cedarburg, youngsters can get aboard a trolley car at the Community Pool every 15 minutes from 9 to 12:30 p.m. The event includes cookie decorating, photos and visits with Santa, a train display, making reindeer food and other activities. Tickets to the event are $6 for children 3 and older and adults and free for children 2 and younger. They must be purchased in advance at the Port Washington, Grafton and Cedarburg parks and recreation department offices or Port Washington State Bank locations in those communities.
