Flushing of hydrants starts Oct. 19 in village

The Saukville Water Department will flush hydrants throughout the village from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, Oct. 19 through Oct. 22, and Oct. 26 through Oct. 29. 

During the process, residents may see discoloration in their water caused by iron. It is not harmful.

Once flushing is complete, residents are advised to run faucets for a few minutes to clear the water line.
