A fitting salute to veterans in Fredonia

Students in Fredonia lined the street outside Divine Savior Catholic School and the Northern Ozaukee School District campus to salute veterans who paraded in vehicles of all types, including a wagon pulled by a farm tractor from Waubedonia Park through the village Tuesday in a pre-Veterans Day thank you to those who served in the military. Surrounded by their classmates, Maddison Kunz and Ava Schroeder held a sign thanking veterans (top photo). After the parade, there was a Mass for veterans at Divine Savior’s St. Rose Chapel, during which students sang, followed by lunch at the school.                                  Photos by Sam Arendt
