First Friday series returns to Cultural Center Nov. 5
The First Friday series at the Cedarburg Cultural Center returns with a concert by Comfort Shag on Nov. 5.
The First Friday series, held on the first Friday of each month, includes a singer-songwriter performance at 6 p.m. followed by a featured band at 7 p.m.
A kid’s craft hour is held from 6 to 7 p.m., and there will be a local handmade art show and monthly art exhibit.
Other featured bands in the series include Wildwood Blue on Dec. 3, Boomer Nation on Jan. 7, Another One on Feb. 4, Southbound on March 4, Band of Ringers on April 1 and Alex Wilson on May 6.
The center requires those attending to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test result taken within 48 hours of the performance.
Proof of full vaccination includes an original vaccine card, a physical copy of the card or a digital copy of the card. The final dose of the vaccine must have been taken at least two weeks prior to the event.
Point-of-care or home collection diagnostic Covid-19 tests will be accepted. Those attending must bring a digital or printed, dated and time-stamped proof of the negative test result.
The event is free for center members and children younger than 5 and $5 for nonmembers.
Those attending must wear a mask when inside the center unless they are eating or drinking.
The center at W62 N546 Washington Ave. is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
