Family Services sets holiday programs

Ozaukee Family Services is sponsoring several holiday programs to help youngsters and families get in the holiday spirit.

A meet and greet with Santa will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18.

The event is intended for children from birth to 5 years old and their parents and caregivers.

Those attending will participate in a variety of activities, including a make-and-take craft session, and enjoy snacks.

They will also meet Santa and may pose for photos with him.

Family Services is at 4922 Columbia Rd., Cedarburg.

Family Services is also seeking items for children to pick out and give to their loved ones.

Donations of items, especially for fathers, are being sought. People may select their own items to donate or pick items from a wish list at www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/3PD1SLVSXX7Q7.

Youngsters will pick out gifts during a Rainbows Program holiday party on Dec. 19.

Family Services is also looking to match clients with people who may be able to help them over the holidays.

Items sought often include necessities such as bedding, towels, winter boots and coats, pots and pans and gift cards for gas or groceries, as well as toys and games for kids.
