Event to highlight dangers of distracted driving

Ozaukee High School is hosting a “Split Second” event to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16.

The event will feature accident response demonstrations by the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office, Fredonia Marshall’s Office and Fredonia Fire Department.

It will take place at the Northern Ozaukee School District Fine Arts Center at 401 Highland Dr. in Fredonia.

The event is free.
