E-cycling is Saturday
Residents in the village and town of Belgium may recycle their electronics for free on Saturday, May 18.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the town’s recycling center, 1215 Jay Rd.
Items accepted include monitors/terminals, scanners, CPU’s, laptops, docking stations, fax machines, printers, TVs, VCRs, phones and other telecommunication equipment, audio/visual equipment, typewriters, calculators, mainframes, mid-range and networking equipment, circuit boards, wire and cabling, cash registers, keyboards and mice, stereo equipment, uninterrupted power supplies and video boards. Also accepted are dehumidifiers, small window air conditioners and water cooler bases.
In addition, free paper shredding will be available at Plus Group Financial at 680 Main St. in the village from 8:30 to 11 a.m. or until the truck is full. There is a limit of five boxes per household and is available to town and village residents and Plus Group Financial clients.
