Doris Enstrom

Doris L. Enstrom, age 90, of Berlin, Wis., formerly of Neshkoro, Wis., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020, at Juliette Manor in Berlin.  

She was born on Jan. 13, 1930, in Pound, Wis., a daughter of Leopold Henry and Alice (Christopherson) Murach.  

On Sept. 17, 1949, Doris married Don W. Enstrom in Menominee, Mich.  

Early in her working career, she was an office manager at State Wide Real Estate in Menominee, Mich. Doris was a dental assistant and manager for many years at Northshore Dental Group in Mequon, Wis.  She also was employed in the dental claims division at Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Milwaukee, Wis.  

Doris enjoyed reading, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, cooking and teaching her children to cook.  Doris and Don liked to spend time on their pontoon boat and enjoyed traveling to Don’s World War II reunions.   

Doris is survived by her four children, Carol (Tim Mann) Lindsay of Neshkoro, Gregory (Cindy) Enstrom of Sequim, Wash., Peter (Karen) Enstrom of Menomonee Falls, Wis., and Michael (Pam) Enstrom of Grafton, Wis.; six grandchildren, Colleen (Grant) Billings, Kelly (Rob) Block; Kristen (Josh) Marx, Warren Enstrom; Terra (Omar) Enstrom-Ortega and Branden (fianceé, Karissa) Enstrom; three great-grandchildren, Graham Billings, Megan Block and Ashley Block; three sisters, Frances Osier, Elsie Drevs and Marlene (Ron) Thoney; brother Lewis (Pat) Murach; other relatives; and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don W. Enstrom; parents, Leopold and Alice Murach; stepmother, Dorothy Schjoth-Murach; and nine siblings, Winifred Brittain, Philip Murach, Stella Murach, Helen Schiner-Vogltanz, Edna Squires, Emily Osier, twin sister, Dorothy Murach, Wayne Murach and Darlene Murach.   

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for their excellent care to the staff at Juliette Manor, Dr. Craig Batley and Agnesian Hospice Hope.

Doris L. Enstrom wished to be cremated and buried at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Neshkoro. Her graveside service will take place at a later date.
