District pool returns to operational status

The Cedar Grove-Belgium School District’s pool is back up and running.

Recent routine maintenance included grouting tile in the shallow end, taking down inoperable covers on the wall, painting and remounting all the dive blocks.

The district also hired a company to replace caulk in the main expansion join between the deep and shallow ends.

“I believe this was a source of a majority of our water leakage,” Director of Building and Grounds Ben Lukens said.
