Cultural Center sets music events in May

The Cedarburg Cultural Center has several music events lined up for May.

The Blueburg Cafe’s open mic night will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.

The cafe’s open mic night talent competition showcase will be held on Saturday, June 18.

Tickets are $10 per person and are available at the Cedarburg Cultural Center, by calling 375-3676 or online at www.cedarburgculturalcenter.org/blueburg-cafe.

The center’s First Friday will feature the Alex Wilson Band on May 6.

The band will perform from 7 to 9 p.m.

Opening for them will be Bailey Willis, who will play from 6 to 6:45 p.m.

Doors to the center open at 6 p.m.

There is no admission fee for center members and children younger than 5. Admission for nonmembers is $5.

The center recommends wearing masks while attending performances.
