Crunch time at Ozaukee Elementary School

It was crunch time at Ozaukee Elementary School last week when students received a lesson in healthy eating and a delicious fall snack during what the Fredonia school called the Great Apple Crunch. The apples were donated by Appleland, which has an orchard just south of Fredonia, and teachers thought the gift, in addition to being a nice treat for students, would be an opportunity for a lesson in nutrition.                   Photo by Sam Arendt
