Cookie book to be distributed on Nov. 2

We Energies’ cookie book will be distributed during a drive-through event in Port Washington on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

The book will be given out from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the utility’s 700 Sunset Rd. facility.

The cookie book features recipes from first responders.

This year’s edition marks the 95th anniversary of the first We Energies Cookie Book, which began as a way to promote electric appliances in 1928.

Last year, more than 220,000 books were distributed to the utility’s customers.
