The circus  comes to town

The Culpepper and Merriweather Great Combined Circus put on two 90-minute shows at Buechler Farms in Belgium on Aug. 19. The 40-year-old, one-ring big-top circus has been featured on multiple TV shows, and this year’s performance featured big cats such as Wendell the lion and his handler Trey Key (lower). Above, Leo Acton the clown had some fun with the audience. Other performers included aerialist Simone on the trapeze, the Perez Daredevil Duo on the tightrope and wheel of destiny and hand and foot juggling by Romichel Macias.
