Buechler Farms hosting Derby party

Buechler Farms in Belgium is hosting a Kentucky Derby party on Saturday.

From 4 to 7 p.m., cocktails and Southern-style finger foods will be available, and gaming will be held. Bets with fun money can be exchanged for prizes.

Women are encouraged to wear hats and men to wear bowties.

The race will be shown in the barn. Post time is 5:57 p.m.

At 7:30 p.m., the band Bad Medicine will take the stage to play 1980s rock and roll.

Tickets are $35 per person.

Concert-only tickets are $8 per person with attendees able to enter at 7:15 p.m.
