Borneman, Sullivan win Fish Day titles

Matthew Borneman of Madison and Abeba Sullivan of Saukville ran to top honors in the 33rd annual 8-kilometer Fish Day Run in Port Washington last Saturday.
Borneman, 27, ran the race in 26 minutes, 25 seconds, the fastest of all competitors.
Sullivan, 20, ran a 29:59 to lead all females.
Tyler Zwagerman of Shorewood was the fastest runner with a stroller, finishing in 28:59.
The 8K race and a 2-mile run/walk are held as a fundraiser that benefits Portal Industries, a not-for-profit human service agency serving adults with disabilities.
The first-place 8K team again was TROP, with a total of 2 hours, 22.31. Its top five finishers were Colin Zauner, 28, of Minneapolis, 27:17; Nicholas Bath, 20, Port Washington, 27:57; Scott Allen, 31, Milwaukee, 28:18; Nick Michalowski, Port Washington, 21, 29:25; and Ben Miller, 24, Manitowoc, 29:53.
Jacob Fischer of Port Washington ran an 11:46 to win the two-mile race.
Sue Miller of West Bend won the female two-mile race in 14:28.
