Book celebration to be held April 30 in Port

The Niederkorn Library in Port Washington is having a book celebration on April 30 to celebrate El día de los niños/El día de los libros.

The event will be at Tello’s Grill and Catering.

  Activities include a book giveaway from 10 to 10:30 a.m., Spanish storytime from 10:30 to 11 a.m., flamenco workshop for children with Studio K Flamenco from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and crafts and games from 11:30 to noon.

Library staff members will be on hand to register people for library cards, check out books and provide programming information.

There is no fee and advance registration is not necessary.
