Board OKs calendar

School starts Sept. 1 and ends June 8 in the Cedar Grove-Belgium School District

The Cedar Grove-Belgium School Board last week approved the school calendar for 2020-21.

The first day of school is Tuesday, Sept. 1, the first allowable day without a waiver from the Department of Public Instruction.

The final day is a half day on Tuesday, June 8.

Thanksgiving break begins Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Winter break starts on Wednesday, Dec. 23, and runs through Friday, Jan. 1. Students return to school on Monday, Jan. 4.

Spring break runs from Monday, March 29, through Monday, April 5.

Teacher inservice days are on Fridays, Oct. 23, Nov. 20, Feb. 19 and May 7.

Wednesday, June 9, is a weather makeup day, if necessary.
