Artists sought for 75th annual County Art Show

Artists are being sought for the 75th annual Ozaukee County Art Show at the Cedarburg Cultural Center.
The show and accompanying sale will run from Friday, March 11, through Saturday, April 16.
It will feature an estimated 200 works of original art by amateur and professional adult artists who reside, teach or work in Ozaukee County, as well as original works by county high school students.
Adults interested in entering the show may download the prospectus and entry form prior to the Tuesday, March 8, drop-off date from the center’s website, www.cedarburgculturalcenter.org/artexhibits, or pick up a form at the center during business hours.
Works included in the student division will be selected by art faculty members of county high schools.
The exhibit will be dedicated to Catherine Jautz Bailey, a longtime member of the Ozaukee County Art Committee and its chairperson for the last 10 years. Her textile weavings have long been a part of the annual show.
An opening reception for the exhibit and sale will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 13. A professional Wisconsin artist will conduct a gallery tour of the show.
There is no admission fee. The center at W62 N546 Washington Ave. is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday  through Saturdays.
