Angela Schneider
Angela M. Schneider, 48, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 1. She was 48.
She was born Jan. 21, 1971, in Port Washington to Gerald Schneider and Victoria Schneider Cottrell.
She attended local schools and worked at Cramer Coil and Transformer Co. in Saukville and Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah, among other places.
Her mother, Victoria Cottrell, said her daughter had an amazing free spirit, one that could not be tied down.
“She was always on the go,” she said. “She was full of energy and always trying to help people in need.”
Miss Schneider loved being outdoors, looking at the sky, doing yard work and gardening, raising both vegetables and flowers, her mother said.
Miss Schneider is survived by her daughter Amber (Derek) Drake and son Andrew Drake, both of Port Washington; her mother Victoria Cottrell of Manitowoc; brothers Eric (Heidi) Cottrell of Blanchard, Okla., and Jerry (Katelyn) Schneider of Ladysmith; sisters Leann (Chris) Kuc of Tony, and Karee (Kristopher) Dean of Conrath; and grandmother Jacqueline Hayward of Port Washington.
She was preceded in death by her father Gerald W. Schneider and grandparents Dorothy Keller, Clarence Schneider and Robert Hayward.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. The Rev. Linda Westphal-Buth will preside.
Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 4 p.,m. until the funeral.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Upper Lake Park in Port Washington.
