It was a bizarre but nonetheless fruitful stretch for the Grafton High School girls’ basketball team last week.

The Black Hawks on Jan. 31 won at Whitefish Bay, 34-29, before demolishing Nicolet, 70-22, at home on Feb. 2.

“I can’t really say I’ve ever been in two games in a three-day span that have been that different,” coach Matt D’Amato said.
