‘Cowches’ come to the Chocolate Chisel

Fiberglass “cowches” have recently adorned the outside of Chocolate Chisel in downtown Port Washington. Owners Elizabeth MacCrimmon and John Reichert said they decorated their storefront with the bovines three weeks ago because cows represent the dairy industry and add a little extra seating space for customers. They also said the cows will have a polar bear companion in the next few weeks. From left, Claudia, 8, and Cate, 11, Gaskell enjoyed ice cream on one of the cowches with their grandfather Louie Pody.
