Town of Saukville resident Calvin H. Fellion, 85, died at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon on Monday, Jan. 1.  
    Mr. Fellion was born in Laona on Aug. 6, 1932, to William and Blanche Vallard Fellion.  
    He attended local schools and enlisted in the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school. He served in the military until 1953.  
    In 1960, Mr. Fellion moved to Milwaukee with his friends in search of work. There, he met Barbara Plank, and they were married on Oct. 27, 1962. The couple moved to Saukville in 1970.
    Mr. Fellion worked for Cornell, which is now the Packaging Corp. of America, for many years and retired in 1994.
    He was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville, and of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7037.  
    According to his family, Mr. Fellion was  involved with Boy Scout Troop 868, and enjoyed camping and helping guide the boys into manhood. He liked woodworking, tending to his garden, grouse hunting and fishing — especially on Stevens Lake or the Popple River.
    Mr. Fellion is survived by his wife Barbara; sons Edward (fiancée Sara Penkwitz) of Dundee, James (Ruth) of Cedarburg and Joseph (Janice) of Saukville.  
    He is further survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and brothers William (Sue) of Peoria, Ill., and Edward of Laona.
    Mr. Fellion was preceded in death by his parents, sister Virginia “Toots” and her husband Bill Cotton, and sister-in-law Ruth Fellion.
    Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, at Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington. Father Guy Gurath will preside, and military honors will follow the service.    
    Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service.
