Nancy Kathryn Thelen, age 66 of Cascade, passed away on Tuesday morning, Nov. 21, 2017, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.
She was born in Port Washington on March 12, 1951, daughter of the late Royal E. and Arlin L. (Laabs) Edmark.
Nancy attended St. Paul Lutheran Grade School in Grafton, and later graduated from Grafton High School.
On May 13, 1972, she married Dan A. Thelen at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. The couple resided for a short time in Grafton following their marriage before moving to Cascade.  Dan preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 2011.
Nancy worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years at Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Center, and later worked as a CNA at Kindred Hearts in Plymouth.
She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and reading, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children Nichole (Brian) Michels of Fond du Lac and Andrew (Crystal) Thelen of Sheboygan Falls; the two little loves of her life, Hanna and Meygan Thelen; five more grandchildren, Tori, Jacob, Brandon, Austin and Lucas; and one sister, Jane (Frank) Capozzi of Ephraim.
She is also survived by many dear brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Funeral services were held Saturday Nov. 25, 2017, at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Deacon Ron Schneider of West Bend officiated.  
Cremation took place following the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nancy's name to Meals on Wheels are suggested.
