Rae C. Ballbach, 85, of Gresham, formerly of the Town of Port Washington, died Friday, Nov. 24, at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake.
    Mrs. Ballbach was born in Oconto Falls on Sept. 28, 1932, to Fred and Hazel Gardefee George. She grew up in Milwaukee.  
    On Nov. 3, 1961, she married John Ballbach and the couple settled in the Town of Port Washington. In 1989, they moved to the Shawano area.
    Mrs. Ballbach and her husband operated a hobby farm, keeping bees and raising chickens and horses.
    Mrs. Ballbach is survived by her children Linda (Bruno) Primas Sr. of Port Washington, Fred (Mariann) of Mayville, Robin (Andy) Ballbach of Arcadia, James of Saukville, John Jr. (Lorraine) of Random Lake, George (Heather) of West Bend and Jeff of Fredonia; grandchildren Bruno (Janet) Primas Jr., Rae Ann, William and Paul Ballbach, Ian, Victor and Alia Larsen, Erin and Dan Ballbach, Jessica (Ryan) Walvoord, Marissa (Scott) Cowling, Zachary Carr Ballbach, Jennifer and Amanda Ballbach and Devin Gerk; and numerous great-grandchildren.  
    She is further survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law Louise (Stewart) Scherf, Lenora Ebert, Bill (Donna) Ballbach, Georgine (Dale) Wulff Sr., Ann Muarasky, Mike (Lynn) Ballbach and Geno (Sherri) Ballbach.
    Mrs. Ballbach was preceded in death by husband John Ballbach Sr. on Jan. 15, 2015, and her parents.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Saukville. The Rev. Craig Modahl will preside.  
    Visitation will be at the church from noon Saturday until the service.
    Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington, is handling the arrangements.
