One month before her 100th birthday, Evelyn Ruffing died of heart failure Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Harbor Club in Port Washington, where she lived for the past four years.

    Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 14, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. Deacon Tom Surges officiated.

    Burial was in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery in Port Washington.

    Memorials to the Port Washington Food Pantry are suggested.
