Longtime Port Washington resident Ruth L. Mayer, 87, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the Harbor Club in Port Washington, where she was under care for the past week. She suffered from recurring heart problems since a fall late last year, according to the family.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington.

Father Tom Lijewski will officiate.

Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the Mass. The Rosary will be recited at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus, 630 W. Dekora St., Saukville, WI 53080.

Arrangements are being handled by Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.
