World War II re-enactment
The fifth annual World War II re-enactment will be held at Pioneer Village in the Town of Saukville Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19. Historical demonstrations, battle re-enactments, a military parade and other activities will follow the theme “Metz (France): The City That Wouldn’t Surrender.” A 7 p.m. USO-style dance will be held Saturday. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students ages 13 to 17 and seniors and $5 for veterans and children ages 5 to 12. Children 5 and younger will be admitted are free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Pioneer Village is at 4880 Hwy. I. For more information, visit www.ochs.co.ozaukee.wi.us/events.
