Theodore Kolbach

    Theodore A. Kolbach, 88, of Saukville died Tuesday, July 9, at Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee.
     Mr. Kolbach was born in Port Washington on Jan. 29, 1931, to Theodore and Margaret Kultgen Kolbach.
He attended local schools before serving in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed with an artillery unit.
    On Dec. 31, 1971, he married Maybelle Stark Watry and the couple settled in Saukville. Mrs. Kolbach died June 24, 2011.
     Mr. Kolbach worked on the family farm for nearly 40 years and later worked for Karrels Trucking as a heavy-equipment operator.
    His family said Mr. Kolbach enjoyed tinkering with mechanical objects.
    Mr. Kolbach is survived by his brother John of Belgium; stepson Theodore Watry of Port Washington; and brother-in-law August Stark of Merrill.  
    He was preceded in death by his wife Maybelle, son Tracy “Ace” and brother James.
     A service with military honors was to be held Wednesday, July 17. Interment was to be at St. Mary Cemetery in Port Washington.
    Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, handled the arrangements.
