Program on pollinator gardens

“Creating Pollinator Gardens” is the topic for a 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 19 class at the Mequon Nature Preserve, 8200 W. County Line Rd. Participants will learn how to create the right habitat to fill the landscape with bees, butterflies, birds and other pollinators; discuss plant selection, design strategies to help bring pollinators to the landscape; and learn how to manage the space without harmful chemicals. Reservations are required and may be made by emailing center@mequonnaturepreserve.org.
