PiraTech recycling collection
Port Washington High School's PiraTech robotics team will host an electronics, appliance, textile, scrap metal and bicycle recycling collection from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in the school parking lot. There is no fee to drop off laptops, computer CPUs, cell phones, scrap metal, bikes and textiles. The fees for other objects range from $5 to $55. Proceeds will benefit Port PiraTech, a school and community supported club that designs and builds robots to compete in events, and Thomas Jefferson Middle School's Lego LEague teams.
