Parade will mark start of July 4th celebration

Saukville’s Independence Day festivities will kick off with a 1 p.m. parade on Thursday, July 4.

The parade starts at Rebel Road and South Main Street to Grady Park.

The fun will continue at Grady Park with food, music and other family-friendly fun.

Landt-Thiel American Legion Post 470 and its auxiliary is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the national American Legion organization and will have three tents set up for the festivities. There will be face painting and coloring for children, ice cream and popcorn treats. 

Activities at Grady Park will continue until 5 p.m. and then move to Peninsula Park, ending at dusk with a fireworks show.
