Milen Frenz

Milen W. Frenz of Port Washington, formerly of Milwaukee and Sturgeon Bay,  died Sunday, July 7, at the Harbor Club assisted living facility in Port Washington. He was 91.

Mr. Frenz was born on April 15, 1928, in Milwaukee to Walter and Mildred Schneider Frenz.

He married Moira Fay at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Milwaukee.  

They raised their family in the Milwaukee area before moving to Sturgeon Bay in 1994. 

Mrs. Frenz died in 2015.

Mr. Frenz worked at Photo Copy Inc.  for 42 years as a photographer.

In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling to Arizona, California, Utah and Tennessee. He also played golf and sheepshead and loved to garden flowers and vegetables. 

Mr. Frenz was an active member of  Our Lady of Good Hope Parish in Milwaukee. 

He is survived by his children David (Barb) of Franklin, Barb (Greg Fuerst) Frenz of Port Washington and Susan (John Prudlow) Frenz of Milwaukee; grandchildren Steven (Corrine) and Katie Frenz; and two great-grandchildren.  

A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, July 11, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. Deacon Gerry Malueg will preside. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home until the time of service.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee.
