Local students earn academic honors

 A number of area students recently received academic honors from their universities.  

Four local students were named to the fall semester dean’s list at Carthage College.

To make the list, students must earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.5.

They include Rebecca Dowe of Port Washington, Megan Klos and Danielle Koziczkowski, both of Grafton, and Sophia Larsen of Cedar Grove.

Adam Baierl of Saukville and Colleen Roden of Grafton were named to the fall semester dean’s list at Edgewood College in Madison.

To be eligible, students must earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.5.

A Port Washington woman has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at South Dakota State University in Brookings.

Anastasia Poull is studying in the school’s College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences.

She is among more than 2,700 students to have earned the honor for having a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

Grafton students Kassidy Lange and Alexander Ward made the fall dean’s list at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.

To be eligible for the honor, students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher.

Lange is studying biology and Ward is majoring in athletic training.
