Harvesting Halloween treats in downtown Port

The weather turned frightful later in the day, but for Port Washington’s annual Harvest at the Market and downtown trick-or-treating event on Saturday, Oct. 26, it was a fine fall day to buy the last of the season’s produce at the farmers market and celebrate Halloween. Accepting treats from a ghoulish-looking character outside the Port Exploreum were Mikala Pleitner and her 3-year-old daughter Mayla and Henry Coenen (left). Strolling up Franklin Street in full costume were Lola and Luke Jensen and Liam, Max and Silas Schwister.   Photos by Sam Arendt
