A final farewell

Port Washington Police Captain Mike Keller (center), who officially retired on Sept. 17, was feted by the Police and Fire Commission, his fellow officers and City of Port officials during a retirement party on Sept. 18. Keller served on the police department for 42 years — 46 if you count the four years he served as a reserve officer, in virtually every capacity. Celebrating with Keller were members of his family, (from left) daughter Emily, wife Lize, daughter Bekky Dunham, who held her son Karsyn, and her husband Kodee Dunham.                                                                               Photo by Sam Arendt
