Equine therapy is topic for Port Woman’s Club

A program on equine therapy will be given during the Monday, Sept. 9, meeting of the Port Washington Woman’s Club.

The meeting will be in the community room at the Niederkorn Library, 316 W. Grand Ave.

A social time will be held at 11 a.m. with  lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by the program by LifeStriders Equine Therapy Center Director of Operations Chrystal Stephens and volunteer instructor Jack Rakowski.

The Waukesha-based nonprofit organization allows children and adults to experience the profound physical and mental benefits achieved through the human-horse connection.
