County coronavirus energy assistance program extended

The Ozaukee County Home Energy Plus program to assist those whose income has been affected by Covid-19 has been extended to Sept. 30, it has been announced.

Eligibility for the program is based on income. Those who are eligible can earn up to 60% of the state median income. That means incomes can range from a one-person household making $2,389 a month, or $28,673 a year, to a household of eight earning $6,341 a month, or $76,095 a year.
