Area compost yards open and brush pick-ups begin

City of Port Washington

Curbside brush pick up begins Mon. April 20 operating every other week.

The Street Yard at 333 North Moore Rd. is  is now open on its regular schedule:

Tuesdays 3:00 pm to 6 pm

Thursdays 3:00 pm to 6 pm

Saturdays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

The Street Yard accepts grass clippings, leaves, dead plants and other small yard items. Free wood chips available.

Village of Grafton

Curbside brush collection resumes April 21. Call 262-375-5325 to schedule a pick up.

Brush can be taken to the yard waste site on Lakefield Road. This site is open for yard waste disposal – 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. (Currently the hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM).

Access cards are: $30 for a new card / $25 annual renewal

If you are in need of a new card you will need to contact DPW at 262-375-5325 to make arrangements to receive the card. Office hours are limited; please be patient as a response may take extra time.

Cards can be renewed: via the website / over the phone / or a check can be placed in the drop box just outside the door at 675 North Green Bay Road.

Village of Saukville

The compost site will open on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

The Hours of Operation are only the following days/times:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

• 12:30 - 2:30 p.mm

This is for Compost Only. No Appliances, Brush or Metal. There will be No Dumpsters available at this time. Social Distancing Requirements apply. Please be respectful of other people dropping off. Please Note … The site will be under video surveillance.

 

Village of Belgium

Recycling center is open. Village Hall is closed, to renew your recycling card, download the form and mail to city or call 262-285-7931. Click here for form:

Villiage of Fredonia

Leaves and yard debris may be put on the compost pile at the Wastewater

Treatment Plant. If you use plastic bags to transport your waste, please

remember to take your bags with you.

For curbside brush pick up, call the village office at (262) 692-9125 prior to

7 a.m. Monday morning to arrange for this service. Branches are not to be

dropped off at the Wastewater Treatment Plant yard waste site. Wood chips

are available to the public as supply permits.
