Annual art studio tour will be held Oct. 11 to 13

The annual Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour will be held Friday through Sunday, Oct. 11 to 13.

The tour will run from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The free, self-guided tour will take visitors to working artists’ studios throughout Ozaukee County.

A number of the artists will be working during the tour, offering visitors a glimpse into their creative processes.

Fifty-four artists are on this year’s tour, which features studios in Port Washington, Saukville, Newburg, Grafton, Cedarburg, Thiensville and Mequon, as well as West Bend.

These artists work in a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, weaving, glass, jewelry, photography and metal.

Their studios also offer variety, ranging from a barn to a spare bedroom to a repurposed mill.
